PKPD Expert Meeting
of pharmacokinetics/ pharmacodynamics
Promotion of young scientists
The pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PKPD) expert conference was established in 1995 with the aim of offering an open and neutral discussion platform for scientists from industry, universities and public authorities. Once a year an English-language conference is held, typically in a rather isolated rural area, under the umbrella of the AGAH.
Created in 2012, the Hans Günter Schäfer Prize for young scientists is awarded and financed by sponsors in order to promote these young scientists in memory of the original initiator, who died far too early, of the PKPD expert conference and through this prize to acknowledge excellent publications in the field of PKPD.
24. PK/PD Expert Meeting is scheduled for May 7th to 9th, 2020 and will take place in Saarbrücken, Germany.
The conference topics are as follows:
- Machine learning: From Buzzword to Useful Tool in Clinical Pharmacology?
- Precision Dosing – Bringing Models to Patients
- Neglected majorities – What do we have to consider?
