Advanced education and training
For many years the AGAH has held academically challenging workshops on special topics. The topics are selected and identified by the members and then planned, conceived and realised by the extended board. Over the many years of its existence the AGAH has innovatively worked with universities, industry, authorities and ethics committees on scientific standards and given its members and the scientific community the opportunity to participate and discuss.
In previous years, the AGAH has established a continuing education and training series, known as the "Introductory Course", as well as "Applied Workshops", in which experienced scientists have developed specific training programmes targeted to young colleagues and also to lateral entrants and "refreshers", and have passed on the practical knowledge gained. The number of participants is limited in order to ensure a lively exchange, and the workshops always include practical exercises.
