What is the AGAH?

The Association for Applied Human Pharmacology (Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Angewandte Humanpharmakologie e.V. - AGAH) as a specialist medical-academic organisation focuses on exploratory medicinal product development and human pharmacological research.

AGAH sees itself as an organisation for everyone dealing with clinical pharmacological test programs, studies in the target population in early-stage medicinal product development and translational topics.

AGAH is a member of the Association of the Scientific Medical Societies in Germany (Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Wissenschaftlichen Medizinischen Fachgesellschaften - AWMF) and it cooperates with the german society for experimental and clinical pharmacology and toxicology (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Experimentelle und Klinische Pharmakologie und Toxikologie (DGPT)). Further it cooperates with the French Club Phase I and the the American College of Clinical Pharmacology (ACCP).

Organisational structure of the AGAH

The board of AGAH comprises five members and supports the work of the AGAH.
Regular regents meetings ensure information exchange between the different project groups which mainly contribute to the achievements of the AGAH.
